Old Forge Seeking Resumes to Fill Open Council Seat

The Old Forge Borough is seeking resumes from residents of Old Forge, PA who have lived in the borough for one calendar year or longer to fill a vacant seat left by Rick Notari's resignation. The appointed term will expire on the first Monday of January 2026. Resume submissions are due to the borough secretary no later than August 16th.  Residents with questions about the appointment and resume submission can call the borough at 570-457-8852 ext 1.

Serving on the Borough Council is a wonderful opportunity to serve our borough.  Opportunities include addressing community issues like safety and stormwater, as well as advocating for community needs such as parks improvements amongst other things. Council also approves contracts for borough services.
